Shipping Policies

*Please note for certain oversize items such as camp cots or to remote destinations such as Hawaii, Alaska, etc we may not be able to offer free shipping.  Please check with us for eligibility.

Asia, Australia, Europe, Mexico, South America:  We ship many of our products worldwide!  Canada has Free Trade Agreements with over 50 countries!  This means that many of our items could arrive free of duty and tariffs.  To see if your country is eligible and specific limitations please check with your local customs office.  Most countries have this information readily accessible via a quick google search.  For most countries that share a free trade agreement, we also offer a special $29 Flat Rate traceable shipping service for lightweight items.

Please note for all international shipments, the customer is responsible for verifying any duties or local taxes charged by their respective customs offices.  

How we ship:

Canada: we use a software that searches for the best possible combination or delivery times and rates. Common carriers include but are not limited to Canada Post, Sendle, Uni Uni, UPS.

We are able to ship via almost any carrier by special request however additional costs may be required. 

USA:  We use USPS via a 3rd party logistics affiliate.  Tracking may take 2-3 business days to appear in the current export environment, however delivery is typically much quicker than shipping from Canada.

Express and traditional services from Canada (UPS, Fedex, Canada Post, etc) are also available at checkout.  Depending on the current trade conditions, please be aware some couriers may charge brokerage or tariff processing fees so we recommend our USPS option to avoid possible surprises.

Processing times: 

We ship most orders out within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. We ship from Toronto, Canada or Buffalo, New York.

Packages within Canada:

Delivery to most major urban centres within 1-7 business days depending on proximity to Toronto and urban or rural addresses.

Canada has many beautiful and remote areas that may take longer, please check with your closest post office for average delivery times for those delivery destinations.

Packages to United States:

Most areas of the continental USA: 3-8 business days

Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, etc: 2-4 weeks

Packages Sent Outside of North America:

We will ship world wide by post office. At the arrival country packages are handed to the care of the domestic post office.

Expedited International services vary by country.  We typically offer DHL, Canada Post or USPS, and UPS.  If you don't see these options or prefer another carrier, please check with us for a rate.

Customers are responsible for any brokerage fees or taxes which may vary by country.

BRANDS WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Regrettably, we are unable to ship certain brands outside of Canada which include, but not limited to Columbia, Deuter, Exped, Keen, Mammut, MSR, NEMO, Outdoor Research, Platypus, Primus, Seal Line, Salomon, Sea to Summit, Sorel and ThermaRest. 

In the event that a brand is purchased that we can not ship internationally, we will contact you and will issue your choice of a full refund or offer a substitute or adjustment of order.
