45-Day Exchange/Refund Policy

We really appreciate your business and want you to have a great shopping experience with us. That’s why we are excited to offer a generous, no questions asked, 45-day return policy as long as the below conditions are met.

 

We will happily exchange or refund your order if:

  • Your item is unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • Is in its original packaging with all tags, instructions and other documentation included

If it was our fault

We sometimes make mistakes. If you need to return an item because we made an error, contact us at sales@scouttech.com and we will pay the return shipping and make things right.

Return process

  • Return the item to us using a trackable shipping method
  • Enclose the receipt or proof of purchase. (This can be your online order confirmation email or other sale documentation).
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund

Please allow 48 hours upon receipt of the package to process the return. There may also be a delay between us issuing the refund on our system and you seeing it on your credit card statement / payment method transaction list.

A few exclusions and clarifications for returns and refunds:

There are certain situations where no, or only partial refunds will be granted:

  • Any returned item that is not in its original condition
  • Any item that Is damaged
  • Any return that is missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery receipt
  • Order Cancellations: Shopify charges a non-refundable 2.9% + .30 cents per transaction.  This processing fee is deducted from refunds when an order is cancelled due to a customer request.  
  • Shipment cancellations: If we're able to void and reclaim a shipment that's already been collected by a shipping partner, they may charge a $5-10 returns/collections fee that will be deducted dependant on the carrier.

*Any situation where we've made an error that requires a return or cancellation is exempted from the exclusions in this policy.


We regret that we are unable to accept returns for the following items:

  • Items that are special/custom ordered (excepting special arrangements due to some substitutions)
  • Perishable goods such as food, fuel and magazines
  • Underwear, Intimate or personal care items
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards

Clearance Items

Discounts 30% or greater are final sale, with no returns or exchanges.  Final sale items as identified on the product or listing can not be returned.

Special Orders:

Not returnable unless special arrangements are made prior to order being placed or special terms are stated on an item page.

Gift Returns:

If you are the recipient of a gift, we can exchange the item for you (ie. size, colour, similar value, etc) or issue a gift card or store credit for the value of the item.  A gift receipt or proof of purchase is required

For a refund of the purchase price, proof of purchase is required and we can only return funds back to the card originally used for the purchase.  Clearance or final sale items can not be returned per our policy.

Buyer is responsible for paying shipping costs to return the item to us and original shipping costs (where applicable) are non-refundable.
