Now that winter has arrived it's that time of year to break out the winter coats again.

Outdoor Survival Canada is a local Toronto based company and because of their location we have the wonderful opportunity to offer custom made OSC jackets. Their jackets are all made from start to finish in Toronto Ontario. Any size, any color variation we can get it made just for you! Their jackets are all handmade using down insulation. Their jackets are tested in arctic conditions but have many designed for daily city life as well. With a jacket designed for over a suit but has the ability to keep you warm even at -40 degrees Celsius, these Jackets are perfect for any occasion, and almost any winter temperature you'll be facing.

We thought we'd do a quick video on how to choose a mattress. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. At the store, most of our staff opt for either self-inflating, non-self-inflating air or insulated mattresses. Check out this video, and consider subscribing! Introducing Black Diamond climbing gear! We are excited to announce the first products in our climbing section. From harnesses, helmets, and belay devices to carabiners and chalk. We have everything you need to get started!

Here's just some of what we have to offer:

The Momentum Harness. Some of this harness' features include a speed adjust waist belt for easy adjustment, increased comfort with Dual Core Construction and better load distribution making it the best choice for all-around climbers.

The Half Dome Helmet. This is a perfectly ventilated and comfortable helmet for climbers. The half dome helmet is also adjustable allowing for extra comfort.

Our most versatile belay device, the ATC-Guide. It has multiple friction modes for climb and rappelling and also comes with guide mode for belaying 2 climbers. It works with ropes from 7.7mm to 11mm. 

New products from MSR! 

With some old classics and some new products from MSR, there is sure to be something new for everyone! One of the first windproof stoves on the market, the Windburner is one of a kind. Perfect for solo trippers, anyone that needs to boil water quick. With MSRs reactor technology the wind does not affect your cooking. With their lock on pot there is no worry of your pot falling off. Not only are there tons of new products, there is also lots of updates to old favorites. The newly updated Elixir 2-person tent is newly updated for this season and is one of the truest to its size tent. Excellent for backpacking and trekking. The new tent has 35% larger vestibules than previous models, the new doors are larger as well. The iconic Pocket Rocket has also received an upgrade this year. It is now even smaller and lighter than ever. It is one of the quickest stoves being able to bowl 1 liter of water in just 3.5 minutes. With full flame control it is much easier to go from torch to simmer and the folding pot supports make the pocket rocket more versatile with more pot options and even smaller. 

The Nemo Hornet 2p is finally back! One of the most ultralight tents available, at just 2Lbs. It is one of the only tents in this weight range with two full sized vestibules and two doors. The divvy stuff sack makes it easy to divide up the load with another person. With lots of small other features like Light Pockets for lighting up the tent without needing a lantern. The new Fillo Bello pillow is a dry bag, a pillow, and a sleeping pad pump. The perfect for any ultra-light tripper. The soft cotton side is perfect for a pillow, while still being water proof and durable as a dry bag.

Your primary duties would include:
Customer and supplier communications (email, phone & in person)
Order Fulfillment & Returns Processing
Receiving and Restocking

With winter fat-approaching, you'll be happy to know that our kid's section has expanded to meet the new season. We have baselayers from Icebreaker, jackets from Columbia, mitts from Kombi, and fleece sweaters from Marmot. We have everything a child need for winter skiing, snowball fights, and staying warm while at school. On top of that, we have new arrivals coming in all the time, so check back on the Youth section regularly!
