Rock 62 is made of Sleipner Steel, one of the best steels for knife making in the world. This is a high alloyed stainless tool steel, made by Uddeholm, which offers extreme hardness, wear and chipping resistance, yet easily machined. It's made with silicon, manganese, molybdenum, and vanadium.

Gaining inspiration from the legendary Pirelli tires, X-GRIP Technology is designed with grooves and threads that help liquids to naturally and quickly flow away from the handle. Fluids such as water, blood, mud and other liquids get displaced 10-times faster than with other conventional handle designs. Thus, the new Rock62 X-Grip Technology knives offer superior grip and handling in any environment or weather. Like all WOOX Rock62 knives, these new models also feature superior Sleipner Steel (Rockwell HRC 60-62), custom fitted screws, and German Micarta handles.
